Interleaved or fastpath?

Just wondering if my line is still interleaved or already on fastpath? Getting about 20-22ms to uk hosts such as multiplay.co.uk, google.co.uk, kelly.co.uk etc

Btw. why is my early hop same as other hops - 20ms and freaky 31.55... IP? Shouldn't it be 2xx.?

Re: Interleaved or fastpath?

My downstream noise margin has gone up to nearly 12dB from stable 6dB but absolutely no changes to my broadband and latency. The only thing that has changed is maximum speed of my line 52mb. FEC still going on and a bit CRC errors so I assume interleaving is still on. Can someone explain me why has it gone up to nearly 12dB? Speed is still the same (rock solid infinity 1 speed 39/8). I am monitoring all my stats on http://www.mydslwebstats.co.uk/Container.htm as my ECI modem is locked.  Want to add that my connection hasn't dropped and it has been stable for over 5 days now.

Re: Interleaved or fastpath?

Those are NOT YOUR stats on Mydslwebsts

Your modem is LOCKED as you have said.

A locked modem cannot have the stats extracted by the DSLwebstats progrm which you need to download and run on your computer to upload the stats to the webmonitoing website.

You need as well to register on the MYDSLwebstats website and enter up the details into to DSLstats program to upload the stats from your UNLOCKED modem.

Those are someone ELSE's stats you are looking at whose name is called Guest.

I can go to that link and it show the "guest's" stats just as you can- and I'm currently on a Gigalcear FTTP connection to have no stats.

Re: Interleaved or fastpath?

@TreeRat

Well, the stats are very similar to my HH5. My HH5 shows 23.4dB line attenuation as well, same as SNR, just sync rate is different, don't know about CRC and FEC errors as I can't see them.

Re: Interleaved or fastpath?

I think its interleaved.

Mines around 10ms with the unlocked hg612 3b and linksys.

Re: Interleaved or fastpath?

@Barry57 I would also agree it looks like an interleaved connection

Re: Interleaved or fastpath?

Just purchased the HG612 3B, will unlock it and will see what the latency would be.

Re: Interleaved or fastpath?

My line to around a month or so for the dlm to realase its grip on the line with the unlocked modem.

They say  allow at least 30mins before reconnecting when swaping the modems so you don't attract the attention of that dreaded dlm.

Good overview on the dlm is on btretail sister isp plusnet.
