Re: Interleaving Troubles.. Stuck on 0.5 mbps.

with all the changes then new stats would be helpful but you need to remain connected 24/7

Re: Interleaving Troubles.. Stuck on 0.5 mbps.

Obviously something going on with the wiring. Some of the sky boxes have got old micro filters so will try and get some new ones tomorrow.
Pulled the bellwires out. Which should hopefully help with the disconnects? And also the bellwires of the extensions. Will keep an eye on it over the next few days.

Thanks for the help!

Re: Interleaving Troubles.. Stuck on 0.5 mbps.

if there is any way that you can leave the rouet connected to master socket when found problem then you could get a filtered faceplate NTE2000 (adsl v 1.0) which you can fit and then there is no need to fit any other filters.  downside is broadband will only work in this new socket but does give better connection

Re: Interleaving Troubles.. Stuck on 0.5 mbps.

Hey guys been watching it over the last 2 days and never managed to get more than 12 hours without a disconnect. Seems the bellwires have helped (disconnects seemed to be every 3-4 hours) but other than that the noise has gone way down..

Re: Interleaving Troubles.. Stuck on 0.5 mbps.

are you connected to the test socket or somewhere else - just your  stats are not as good as those in post 12

Re: Interleaving Troubles.. Stuck on 0.5 mbps.

Yes still connected to test socket. New filters introduced and gone up to:

Noise margin (Down/Up): 16.1 dB / 13.6 dB
Line attenuation (Down/Up): 21.0 dB / 12.2 dB

But just found out that phone calls still seem to disrupt the broadband. (hence the no longer than 12 hr connection) Even with bellwires / new filters 😞

Re: Interleaving Troubles.. Stuck on 0.5 mbps.

did you try the double filter idea that we posted?  if so and you phone using mobile does your broadband still drop conenction?  does conenction drop if you make calls?   if conenction still dropping when you receive calls even with double filter then that suggests a high resistence fault on your line and you need to contact the mods for assistance

contact mods

can take up to 3 working days for mods to contact you
