My "Reply to" address is correctly specified as described by the 553 error advice pages.
Most significantly - it all works fine 95% of the time.
The chat line say it must be a fault with my email client (duh !), and they can't help because they are not trained.
Typical failure mode sees failures develop late afternoon and continue until early evening, with the client re-trying every 5 minutes.
How does one go about getting BT to fix this, or even admit there is a problem ?
as bt are moving away from yahoo and starting bt email end of summer then it is highly unlikely anyomne will try and fix it
This problem and many others with BTYahoo has been going on for years and imjolly has said BT are dumping Yahoo so I would not expect any fix to be forthcoming now. As you are no doubt aware it normally sorts itself out so I'm afraid you'll just need to live with it. Hopefully the new BTMail will be better.
I have experienced a similar problem now over a year later from this post and BT told me it is due to the fact that they are migrating from Yahoo. How long is this migration taking then?
