Intermittent Sound dropouts on BBCONE HD 101

Mod at Virgin got it wrong, so it's 101 for both Virgin and BT for BBC1 HD. 

There is a BBC Scotland channel as you know, and that is CH108 which is unaffected at this time.

Freeview help have asked me to supply details of links to the forums where people have been reporting issues for this, so I have done this for both Virgin Media community and BT community forum also.

Just out of interest if for no other reason has anyone tried the analogue audio feed to see if that has the same problem? Someone must have an AV amp which lets you choose that option from the comfort of your armchair using your remote control?

Are you referring to listening to the SD channel through the TV?

My TV can switch to the aerial only, this has already been tested by @Thom77 and he said the glitch was still audible.

According to Virgin Media the issue has been resolved, however I cannot test this at this time as we're currently viewing iplayer, I'm hoping the resolve has fixed it for BT customers too!
