Internet absolutely tanking on a laptop

I've had an on and off problem where for 2 hours randomly my internet will tank on one device. The laptop doesn't have any problems with other wi-fi sources.

Tonight I tested it and I was getting 190ms ping, 0.11Mdps download and 0.97 Mbps upload. This forum page took several minutes to load.

It feels like this must be some sort of security issue but I'm not sure. How would I test to find out more?

I am assuming you are using wireless on laptop so try using ethernet and see if that solves the speed problem  if so then wireless laptop conenction   maybe card needs update
