Re: Internet connection keeps dropping

can you got back to the adsl stas and post the errors you may have to 'show detail' at the bottom.

strange it shows your internet has been connected for 14hrs.  your noise margin is normal and with an attenuation of 63.5 at least you are on a very long line from the exchange.

are you connected to the master or test socket or somewhre else?

I know its very weird, Its like im losing connection but still connected to the exchange somehow. Ive about 4miles from the exchange so on a very long line but stable at 1.5mb for ages now but just this random disconnects from pc and ps3s. I did just now try a different wireless channel, from 11 to 9. See if thats it. Im connected directly to the master socket btw and pc is connected by ethernet and ps3s are wireless. Heres the full stats thanks for your time.

Re: Internet connection keeps dropping

for the wireless you can try downloading inssider2 (istumbler if MAC) and then run it. This will show the broadcasting networks round about you and their channels including your own. If you then enter your router and change your wireless channel to a free or less congested channel.

do you have any extension sockets in your home?  if so have you tried the test socket?  your noise margin does not suggest any reset problems and you have the correct profile for yout speed

Re: Internet connection keeps dropping

doesnt seem to work on my pc inSSIDer, it says no wi-fi interfaces found. would this be because my pc has no wifi on it? I just use the wifi for phones and ps3s
