Internet connection lost when I/C call received

Over the last few months or so I have noticed that everytime I get an incoming call on my landline my internet connection goes down. I then have to disconnect my internet access and then reconnect. If that does not work I have to restart my home hub. 

I have the BT Hub Phone 2.1 with an additional VOIP line. I have checked Hub Manager but all looks ok.

Any suggestions ?

you have a high resistance joint you need to report the fault to BT Faults on 151

It can also be caused by a faulty ADSL filter. Have you tried plugging the router direct into the test point of your main socket? Then make a test call to your home number.

Phoned 151 and they have discovered fault on line between exchange and house. They are currently checking it out
