Internet dropping out

Can anyone help - since 18/3 my internet keeps dropping out. It seems to vary between being relatively stable, to dropping out every few minutes about an hour ago.
During these spells my home hub router light goes from blue to flashing orange.

Just to add, I have called BT and they say my line is fine

can you post the stats from your hub not the logs

try quiet line test  dial 17070 option 2 should be quiet and best with corded phone

are you using the test socket with a filter to see if that helps stability by eliminating your internal wiring as causing a problem

So far the drops in connection have not affected you down connection speed - up is lower though

what about quiet line test?

have you tried test socket with a filter?

No the speed is good - just does nt stay up for long!

I have tried quiet line but only have a cordless phone. Have nt tried plugging router direct into test socket as it’s out in the garage

I m tempted to buy a new router tomorrow and see if that solves it?

Was there any noise with cordless phone. Dull hum is often heard

the test socket helps eliminate internal wiring as causing your disconnection problem especially as you are currently using and extension socket and may have other extension sockets. When using test socket there should be no dial tone at any extension socket

I could hear the odd bit of crackle - but was nt sure if this was the cordless phone or not. Will go and try it in the garage - when you say “test” socket, I assume this is the first one connected after the Bt cable comes into the property ?
