Internet dropping randomly since adding a further 3 Whole Home discs

First of all be gentle as this is my first post.

I have a smart BT hub and have turned off the wi-fi and added a 3 disc Whole Home (not premium).  This has been stable and working well for the past year.  Recently I added 3 additional discs to increase the range.  These have been added using the app and connecting each to the router, however for the 4 days these have been in place my internet randomly drops.  Orange/Purple light on the hub and when it comes back online I have to reset the whole home.  It will then work seamlessly until it drops again.  6 drops in the past 4 days.  Is this related to the additional discs?
