For what has to be for at least 2 months now, the internet will consistently drop during the night. It can occur anywhere between 12 am and 4am and happens almost every night. This continues until it eventually occurs during the day and then an engineer comes out and sorts it only for it to start happening a few days later. We have had at least 4 or 5 engineers now which have all temporarily fixed it. An engineer came fairly recently (about 3 days ago) and cleared the noise which had seemed to be causing the problem but to my surprise hltthe Internet dropped earlier this morning at around 2am. When we called BT they said that the Internet speeds have been dropping ever since June and have only been getting worse. I have no idea how to fix this problem, when the outage occurs the light on the router flashes orange and then back to blue later.
Could this be anything to do with it?

I doubt it, it has been happening for months and every day of the week, including weekends.
