It has dropped a few times.

 

My ping has improved tho(has come down by 10 - 15)

Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

How far are you from the exchange? I had similar issues with noise margin falling to around 3dB, BT finally fixed it at 9dB at the exchange and all is well. You will lose some speed if they do this, but better a stable slower line than a fast unstable one. My speed dropped from 6.5Mb to 4.5Mb but at least it stays up now.

Hi somersetbob the posters noise margin is not dropping and he is on a standard 6db margin a different problem to yours
