Hi, thanks for your reply. My sister is actually the one who deals with this important stuff and she's currently away out of town. BT Home Hub asks me to reset my password but I don't want to do this by myself in case I mess this up. So I'll do this test tomorrow and keep you updated 🙂
EDIT: NVM, spoke to her on the phone. Will follow the instructions*
EDIT2: Connection time: 0 days, 08:41:49
And when was your last disconnect roughly?
Well, around 5 minutes or so ago? maybe a bit more?
As of 23:31pm, the Connection time:0 days, 09:15:23
See, your hub is saying that it hasn't lost Internet connection. So it's either a fauly hub as I had one where I wouldn't have access to the Internet for around 5 seconds to 2 minutes, though If I was connected to a server it was fine it just couldn't send data to a new server or your wireless is losing connection; if you're using wireless that is.
Nope, we are all on wired connection. So it's a faulty hub? Guess we need a new one? o.O Would that explain the loss in down/up speed?
It may not be the hub, but yours is very similar to what I experinced in the past. How much computers do you have connected? Does it happen to all or just you, because for me it use to affect everyone...
He's talking about the black one which is a BT Home Hub 3 router, it should have some blue illumitated lights on the front. If one is orange, tell us and make sure the Broadband is on and if so what colour.
