Internet speed slow again.

Go to solution

We had a previous problem where our 8mb connection was capped to roughly 2mb. This was resolved for a while and we were receiving a full 8mb connection, but once again the speed has dropped to roughly 2mb. It appears to be a different problem than before as before we were shown as having 2mb while paying for 8, whilst this time it shows as an 8mb connection but we are only receiving 2. Nothing significant has changed in the setup, if anyone could help us diagnose the cause of the speed drop we'd be very grateful.

@sahaya  That's helpful for people whose BB is unavoidably slow (eg if they live out in the sticks), though I guess they will already have learned to make the best of it. Most of those who look for help here have a problem that needs to be corrected rather than bypassed.
