Re: Introducing BT Plus!

@Anonymous, @Dean007,

Yes, interesting replies. The initial pricing was confusing, until about one hour later, when My Bt gave a personal offer. The initial response had been “sorry we can’t give you a personalised offer”.

It helps to wait until the dust settles!

It makes a difference of +£1.00, at the moment. I’ll give them a call on 150.

(Broadband speed is deteriorating atm, after a routine 14 day reset at 7.00 pm when noise levels are highest..)......that’s a separate issue....Smiley Frustrated

Re: Introducing BT Plus!

What’s the point when you are only getting a minimum of .5mb

Re: Introducing BT Plus!

@Bromleybob

Plus is not perfect due to the fact not everyone has fast broadband or 4G coverage and is not suited to everyone, but its not just about speed.

Its like as premium bank account, you get UK/Ireland Call centre, Price Freeze for 18 Months and a back up service even if your .5mb goes down. If you are a BT mobile customer all the sims get double data, and when things goe wrong at home unlimited data on your mobile too...

As time goes on, Plus will evolve.. So whilst not for everyone its nice addition

Re: Introducing BT Plus!

Hmm, decisions decisions!!!!

The offer is £4/m more than my current contract that runs out in November. Do I risk that I will be able to maintain the good discount I currently enjoy in November or do I fix for 18 months at a slightly higher price now. Where did I put that crystal ball!!!

Yes, the sticking point is whether the current discount is maintained. If so, you could end up paying less than for a current contract. It looks to be a very good deal, particularly if you have BT Mobile
The only way is to ask, I suppose....Although the the helpline, 150, will probably be swamped with calls at the moment.
The offer isn't going to be withdrawn overnight, though.

Re: Introducing BT Plus!

I'm having issues with my two BT Mobile accounts not having the Data doubled. Is a MOD able to help or assist please?

Re: Introducing BT Plus!

@jam2000

I had a few issues with mine, and it was an integrity issue due to the promotions on the account. Call them, the guys in Ireland are in the same office as the plus team and fairly good at sorting it out!

I've spoken to them again and yet again it's still not been resolved. Can a mod look into this please?

Re: Introducing BT Plus!

I'm interested, but have only recently moved to BT and have an existing fibre broadband deal. Out of curiosity I went through the order process and noticed the following message:

BT.PNG

How I read this is, if I took BT Plus, I would get the price offered less any existing broadband discount I currently have for the 16 months that remain on my original contract, with the normal price that has been quoted for the final 2 months.

Can someone from BT confirm I am reading that right??!
