Thanks. It is EE and they are now owned by BT! hence the tie up. 

I'lll try a long network cable. Removed the BT wall plug to test the hybrid and it worked as expected. So then -117dB works

This is currently not working btw.  It just says an error has occurred.  Apparently for the past 2 years aswell according to other threads.

Is this a mesh system, please?

Some of my devices have started picking up on multiple discs and refuse to connect due to clashing.

The tech who visited said they're performing as boosters.

The app doesn't seem to offer any modes to switch between.
