An IP Profile drop is usually caused by a sync speed drop, caused by a DLM profile drop, caused by noise on the line.
If the noise was temporary, DLM will realize and everything will return, typically after 2 to 3 weeks.
Sometimes DLM allows the sync speed to increase but the IP Profile is not increased to match. Disconnect and reconnect the HomeHub router and it should fix the IP Profile if this has happened; do NOT touch the modem. If expecting/hoping for such an increase, disconnect/reconnect the router each morning as DLM usually schedules increases in the middle of the night.
If the noise was permament, there may not be much to be done. It could be a line fault of some kind. May be worth contacting service to get a line check.
