Re: Is 2mb really good enough for the 21st Century?

@ MrFlibs, the OPs issue here is the attenuation at 59, this is a fair distance from the exchange and profile of 2mb is all that can be reasonably expected.  Unless connecting to the master socket reduces attenuation, then this suggest a issue at the user end.

Re: Is 2mb really good enough for the 21st Century?

I've just now written to BT to get out of my contract for it being

"Not as Described"

It's getting worse, I'm having to reboot my brokeband hub at least 3 times a day.

No point in getting Netflix or Lovefilm in my house.

Xbox live probably going to be cancelled too.

I actually have a 3g dongle here on standby for when this goes down.

ps, this is a wired connection too

Re: Is 2mb really good enough for the 21st Century?

River boat 2001 You are on a very long line over 4.3km and the maximum speed any ISP would be able to provide would be approx 2.5mb so i am afraid not as described will not wok as a reason for cancellation with out charge

if you were to post your hubstats and a Full BT speed test then forum members would be able to offer you help
