Is YVM105 a software bug or hardware?

i keep getting the YVM105 error on my Players. If it's a software issue I don't mind waiting for an update to fix it, but if it's a hardware bug I guess I need to get my box replaced. Does anyone know if a fauty box could cause this problem? done all the various resets and that hasn't fixed it

Tried all those steps, still no luck Smiley Sad

 

if its a software issue i dont mind waiting around but if its hardware i guess i need to escalate it, which is why im trying to find out

so are getting the error at all times or just periodically ?

Were your players working normally before if so roughly when did you start experiencing the problems.

Is the problem on each and every player ?

Do you have BT Tv Ip channels and do they play normally ?

Which Youview box are you using and what is the current (manufacture) software  version ?

i ONLY get the error with netflix.

 

all other players work perfectly (iplayer, 4, itv).

 

netflix on other devices works fine (including bt db t2200 - works fine).

 

i don't have any iptv channels right now, but i used to and they used to work fine.

 

it is the 4K box, all software + players up to date (29.45.0).

 

i've never tried netflix before on this box because i used the app on my tv before

So this thread isn't about 'YVM105'. Its about 'I can't connect to Netflix'.

A poor thread title then and TBH you should have stated from the off what your problem was. As it honestly helps others to help you.

🙄 except when I launch Netflix it says YVM105 ERROR. TRY AGAIN LATER etc.

And thanks for the link but I'd already tried those steps before starting this thread. As the post says, the message I get is a YVM105 ERROR, that page refers to another error

Which is why I'm aiming to find out if YVM105 is a software or hardware bug, and if BT need to send me a new box
