Is it possible to get a fixed IP Address??

I'm running an FTP server on my desktop and the problem I have is that every time I have to restart my machine the Internet IP Address changes and I have to keep changing my FTP Server with the new address.

Is there anyway I can get a fixed IP address?

(I have Infinity option 2)

No, but you can use a free dynamic DNS service like dyndns.org , which gives you a web address which always points to your current IP address.

The home hubs have an option to do the update automatically, or you can use a client program on your PC.
