We have recently sewitched to BT and we have a Panasonic phone which gives you the ability to block up to 30 phone numbers from nuisannce callers.
I was wondering if the BT Blacklist was searchable. I could then search the list to see if the numbers stored on my handset is on the blacklist. This will potentially free up duplications.
Of course the easy way would be to delete all the blocked numbers on my Panasonic and add any nuisance numbers to the BT personal blacklist as they come in, but why should I let nuisance callers that I have already blocked get through to me?
Thanks in advance

If it’s the Panasonic version that I have, if you block a caller, then there’s no option for them giving a message, or if there is, then there’s a lot of difficulty in setting up.
You can’t search BT’s own blacklist, which is a database of known junk callers, but you can search and edit .your own blacklisted numbers which you have entered. In Call Protect, callers are given the option to leave message, accessible from 1572.
