Is there a way to edit the Subject line on emails received (inbox)?

Go to solution

When using MS Outlook, I frequently edited the email subject line so as to make it easier to search folders for specific emails. This also helps to get a useful order when sorting email alphabetically.

However, it seems I can't do this with BT Email, or is there a way to do this?

Thank you.

Do you mean emails in your inbox or are you looking to change the subject line when your reply to an email?

I mean the subject line on emails received, in my inbox.  I could then amend so that the subject line actually relates to the subject (or content or sender) to make them easier to find after I have saved to a folder.

No way to change the subject line in your inbox that I know of but you can usually create and assign your own tags.

Thanks anyway.

Disappointing. You'd think this would be a relatively simple addition to functionality, and it would be very useful. However, if it can't be done I guess my option is to revert to using Outlook and enjoying the many additional features it offers.

Thanls again.
