I recently moved house and became a new BT broadband customer. Due to diy within the house the electric was switched off a few times, consequently in the last 7 weeks I've asked for my line to be reset twice. In the last email from the tech team the following sentence intrigued me;
"I can reset your noise margin again, but I have to advise that we cannot keep doing this as it will have an adverse effect on the line itself".
Can someone explain this because at the moment I'm unsure whether this is completely true and I also feel I can't ask again.
