Issue at Exchange

Hello,  I have posted some questions/comments in the phone forum related to caller display/ID having vanished from our line for nearly two months.  It has taken some time to get any diagnosis, but someone from BT in Newcastle this morning called to say that there is a broadband port issue at the exchange which is causing the fault with our telephone line.   Does anyone know what this means, and whether it is easy issue to solve?

yes it is easy to solve it will need an engineer to visit your exchange and move your line to a different port on the broadband equipment in the exchange
