Hi
Has anyone had any correspondence on the January 2021 CPI price increase that will be actioned at the end of March? If not does anyone know when it will be announced?
Thanks
Simon
The price increases in March will be January's CPI + 3.9%, (I think). The government's Office of National Statistics are due to announce January's CPI rate on 17th February at 0700:

Hi Paul
Thanks so I'm guessing from this date I will have 30 days to get out of my contract , renegotiate or just ride it out to it expires.
Best Wishes

Price increases due to CPI, are part of your contract terms.
If I remember right it was late Feb/early March I got my email last year as it applies from the April bill so still plenty of time to be sent out yet

You will not be able to get out of your contract because of the price rise. You were notified in the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to when you took out your contract that the CPI price rise along with an additional 3.9% increase would happen on an annual basis.
Thanks Paul
As my contract started in December 2019 before the CPI rises were in the terms and conditions I was previously advised that I would have 30 days to get out of my contract after the increase was announced.

Contracts that that time were the standard cpi but not the +3.9% which also means you can't cancel either

Thank you for your informative reply. SO does this mean I will only be charged the CPI increase but not the 3.9%?
As you've said the contract started in Dec 2019 I believe that to be the case
