Suddlenley my Kindle can't connect to Wi Fi internet although it can connect to my hub (refered to as the network) and it says to contact my ISP. I have been searching the help pages with no help anywhere. The general stuff on amazon for if kindle has internet problems doesn't work and based on the stuff on their kindle community help pages it seems to be only those with BT as their ISP who have a problem.

Try resetting the home hub to factory default.
If you have a home hub 4 or 5, make sure you disable smart setup.
Try turning Smart Setup off.
whichj hub are you using? have you tried a factory reset of the hub? have you tried deleting the network connections on the kindle then searching fr networks?
if hh4/5 have you turned off smart setup? have you split the networks?
I am not using a home hub and have the same problems. I have no idea if it is BT related as I have nothing else I can test it with.
I'm having the same problem. switching smart set up off doesn't help and my kindle has been able to connect until today and can still connect to 'the network' (or hub) but not the internet
My hub's settings had never been changed so were still factory settings and turning smart set up off doesn't help. Tried it.
And my hub settings had never been changed so were still factory settings

But the home hub configuration can get corrupted, and a factory reset fixes that.
Is it just the kindle that can't connect or all devices?
Have you tried reseting your Kindle by holding down the on / off button for 30 seconds then restarting it.
