LOst BT hub details

Hi all,

Have had BT Infinity for a long time and recently out xbox became "moderate" so we went to log into the BT hub and realised we cant remember the password...so went to reset it and realised the sticker has gone from the bottom of the hub yet we need the BT Home Hub Serial Number to reset it but we dont have it

Any help?

thanks david

Re: LOst BT hub details

Hi,

As you have infinity all the hud details are on a tab on top of the hub sort of in the middle, give it a pull you will find the details, assuming you have the hh3.

Re: LOst BT hub details

If you reset the hub via the small pinhole on the side marked reset, you can enter the default admin login on the tab

Re: LOst BT hub details

Try using your BTYahoo email address for the username xxxx.xxxxxx@btinternet.com.

And your email PW.

It works for me.

Re: LOst BT hub details

They want the serial number thats on the sticker on the bottom of the hub so they can reset everything. Unfortunately their sticker is missing. The only way to reset is to use the pin hole button.

Re: LOst BT hub details

Why do they ask for the serial number,?,when I first used my HH3 [I use a draytek now],all I did was a factory reset and used my BT email and PW to activate it.

Never used wireless though.

He said he forgot the password, you have the override button which resets the password which requires the original password and the serial code of the hub.

Re: LOst BT hub details

Surely it is just the user name and password required in the browser GUI?

Re: LOst BT hub details

Ahh I understand now,but in that case,no serial number & no oldPW,could mean that the OP needs a new HH3 sent to him,but how would he/she explain the missing sticker.?
