Hi. I can't find any way of contacting BT by phone or email, no sign of live chat, so wonder if someone here can help.
I've been checking on line and offered My Anytime Calls at a price of £1 per month - £9 less £8 discount. I need to know how long the discount lasts and what effect, if any, this will have on my existing contract eg length, existing discounts, etc (I have broadband, landline, TV and mobile)

I'm sorry you have been unable to get in contact with us, we have had live chat closed during some parts of the day.
You will continue to get your My Anytime Calls at the special rate until you re-contract your broadband package. At this point, we will ask you to pick one of our new calling plans.

Thanks. After trying a couple of numbers, I did get through to a very helpful agent in North East.
He had a lot of trouble, being unable to find the discount offer on his system and trying various other ways of working, but did eventually manage to put the My Anytime Calls add on into my package. He hadn't come across this offer before. Again the discount length wasn't clear, but he said it should last until my contract ends, so that's fine. It should also have no effect on the other loyalty discounts I have on my package.
I was worried as I had heard that some special discount offers (not BT) were only for length of Covid lockdowns.
