Landline fault?

I received a phone call yesterday evening and there was nobody on the line. Heard some clicking in back round and haven't been able to use phone at all. We can ring the phone but cannot answer as it's just the same static, clicking noise? Wife is worried it's a scammer who's done something?

Hi @foscarl that does sound like a fault. You'll need to report it directly to your provider Sky.
