Landline not receiving incoming calls

Hi guys

I changed from Talktalk to BT on Tues same landline number. When you ring the landline it says “not receiving incoming calls”. Have rang BT 3 times and still not sorted? Very frustrated. Any ideas? Thanks

Were you actually told that you could transfer your phone number to BT, as its not always the case?

Do you get the correct phone number when you dial 17070?

Have you ever been a BT customer before, at the same address?

Thanks Keith. Yeah it is the correct number when I ring17070 - seems only a few BT landline numbers can get through. No mobiles can get through and appears other networks

Then there is a porting issue, but that usually sorts itself out. How long ago was your service transferred?

I would have hoped it would be sorted by now.
