Last attempt connection, dropping , slow , orange BB light
This is my last attempt before I just stop paying my bill and walk away from BT.
I have spent many a hour on the phone to BT tec support and various service departments, all they want to do is Sell me Infinity !
Im having problems with my Hub V2.0. Drops internet connection ornage light flashes , devices will not connect and show contected by have no internet access, very slow issues in later eveing.
I get a mixture of the above problems intermitently, some time this is resolved by a "soft" restart but then others not. Its getting me very frustraited now as i had to restart 4 times between 7- 9 last night and again got up this morning and Iphone was unable to connect again.
Tec keep saying the same thing , its all ok from our end ! but its getting to the point now where im not willing to keep paying for this service as i only get 5 mins use a day before it all collapses.
PS this all started around 10 days ago , no issues before this.
NB# im pluged in to the master socket , front plate removed filter fitted.
Any comments or advice would be well reccived as im tearing my hair out on the phone, BT could not careless and just want to sell my infinity ( there is no way im willing to go into a new contract with BT given the service reccived)

in order for the forum members to help please can you post the adsl stats from your router may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser and navigate to adsl or use a-z, if netgear enter 192.168.0.1) and run btspeedtester (MAC users may have problems). when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post the results .
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal
