Re: League of Legends DNS Issues

@TheOnlyNemesis Thanks. I will highlight this up with SeanD.

@AslanMods Can you please provide the dns name servers your router/Homehub is using?

If you are using the BT Homehub then these can be found within the HomeHubs web GUI by going to http://bthomehub.home/ or http://192.168.1.254 or within your routers web GUI.

For example: 213.120.234.46 & 213.120.234.22

I'm not the sole user of my Hub, so currently I'm not at liberty to change the password on it, which apparently I have to do to access hub management.

Re: League of Legends DNS Issues

Hey SeanD, I work in the NOC at Riot Games. We've emailed your EU NOC with details where players can resolve to our login queue with Google DNS, but not with their default BT DNS, regardless of whether parental controls are enabled or not.

Would you be able to have someone contact us? If you can see my email from my profile feel free to reach out there as well.

Re: League of Legends DNS Issues

Oh good, it's not just me then!

Obviously I would rather not have to use the Google DNS, seems a little extreme to give all that data away. Hopefully BT have this fixed soon.

Re: League of Legends DNS Issues

I was able to fix the problem with parental controls thanks to the help of a distinguished sage named Keith, and was able to use google's DNS servers and indeed I was able to log into League of Legends with no issues whatsoever.
