Leaving BT

I have moved to another provider.  However, still have my BT account running.  I do movement to cancel anything until I was absolutely sure the other Internet provider was working.  Now, when I need to know is if I will still be able to use my BT email once I cancel my account.  Also, am I going to get a charge for leaving BT?  I don't see why I should.  I've been using BT broadband for many years now.

Re: Leaving BT

If you were/are in a fixed term contract then leaving BT will probably incur early termination penalties.  Normally when moving ISP you just place order with new ISP and they notify BT that they are taking over the line which would terminate your BT contract

Re: Leaving BT

Where do I go in my account to find  out what kind of account I have?  I can't seem to find anywhere that I can make a cancellation request
