Limited connection on Ipad

I can access the store and web browser on the ipad  but I have this app called flipaclip an animation app that has difficulty when connected to the bt hub.It has IAPs which are audio files but when I try to get to them it has difficulty downloading them(it has previews before you purchase).I have no trouble accessing if I am on mobile(which is also BT) broadband.

Tried switching firewall off in hub settings to no avail.

are you connecting to your home network or BTWIFI - Fon or Btwifi-X
