Line installation for new build

Go to solution

Hi hoping someone can give me some advice. I moved into a new build home in a development in the middle of Dec. We were informed that all was good to go in terms of getting our line & broadband organised as our fibre has been installed to our home and the openreach engineers been in and installed the unit in our cupboard. When I contacted  Bt to get a new line and broadband they said they couldn’t as they hadn’t been notified by openreach that they were now able to connect services to our house but when I contacted openreach they say the issue is with BT and that they need to register our box to our address but it is sitting in a backlog. Every time I contact BT I get a different reason as what the issue and to be honest I’m at my wits end. Can anyone advise what to do now as I can’t seem to get any sense out of Openreach or BT as to what the real issue is.
