It is possible that the engineer is correct that the powerline is so near that it is causing the problem. If this is the case then I can't see Openreach being able to solve the problem. Keep you fingers crossed for FTTP in a couple of years.

I’d have thought the engineer from last weekend would have left notes for the guy today about the power line. Perhaps it’s not their responsibility to move the cable? FTTP is a service I’m highly unlikely to see. It’s just not commercially viable in my mind. My best hope of faster speeds is fixed wireless.
