Line tanking out of the blue?

Hi all,

All of a sudden my line has gone from 73Mbps connection to 69.5 and the current attainable is 65Mbps, with 9 reconnects and a current SNR of 4 it’s only a matter of time before it resumes at 65Mbps. Line sounds quiet so I’m not sure what the issue is?

Not exactly a catastrophic drop is it, probably a new crosstalker just connected to the cabinet.

I always love this kind of response because I value every MB of my connection with 2 adults and 2 kids using the internet everyday. When it reconnects it will be 65Mbps from 73Mbps which is 8Mbps which is 1MB. 

I don’t ever want to lose any speed as it’s not fast enough as it is. Would rather fix it before it goes down further.

If its crosstalk, there is nothing you can do about it.

Have you tried connecting to the test socket to see if that improves things?
