I had two BT accounts for two properties. I closed one account and wanted to move / link the email addresses to the remaining existing account.
After several long phone calls I was put through to the relevant department and we went through the process of linking the accounts.
Until I was asked for the security password for the old closed account. As this account was opened 3+ years ago, I could not remember what the security answer was!
And that was the end of that, computer says no!!
Is there any way to link these email addresses so I do not lose them?
The name on both accounts is the same.
The correspondence address on both accounts was and still is the same.
It cannot be difficult for BT to verify these details and link the email addresses to the existing account. I hope not!
