Just went live today and already thing's aint looking good, everyone I spoke to at BT stated that I would definitely be connected at 15.5mb plus not on a standard ADSL service.

8 Mbps, my heart bleeds for you it really does. It's an outrage you can only get 8 Mbps when I can get a massive 0.25 Mbps.
It is when I was on 20mb with Sky and now paying more for less. Thanks for the constructive answer.
try living on a maximum speed of 0.5 Mbps before complaining about lack of speed.
atleast yo have the option of going back to sky for your 20 Mbps. I get 0.25-0.5Mbps no matter what ISP I'm with.
I am complaining because of false BT promises and and paying more for a service and getting half the speed. Your input is not constructive to this post
Read other posts on here, BT never tell the truth when trying to get you into a contract, if you believe it has been mis-sold, contact Ofcom, thats what I did when BT said I could get 10Mbps when in fact my line will only handle a max of 1Mbps.
when you were with sky you would be using the LLU equipment in the exchange giving the adsl2+ connection. AS you have checked your exchange is 21CN upgraded then eithe try uk sales and see if the can help or/and you could email the mods with your account and phone number and a link back to this thread. They should be able to get it sorted out
