I have notified the mods about the McAfee problem
Another reason never to use any of the junk McAfee programs that are supplied by BT.
Some people have found that turning off McAfee web advisor resolves the problem so if you have it installed try doing that.
Definitely!!
Like you, my password is rejected in Firefox but the same password works in Chrome
Same here. Couldn't log in today to an account I've used for years ("Please check you entered your username and password correctly and try again. If you need help remembering your username or password you can use the links below. "). Changed the password twice but no joy. My sister could log in from another device. Initially my Android phone was okay but once the password was changed I could no longer log in.
However, using Microsoft Edge I can log in using the new details (I was on Mozilla Firefox).

I presume you changed to the new password on your phone. It has been found that when changing passwords it can take a while for the new password to sync with the servers so it is recommended to wait at least an hour after changing the password before adding it to the phone.
It might be worth stopping your phone from checking for emails on that account, ie turn your phone off and after an hour or so allow it to check to see if it has synced. If it hasn't you may need to change the password again and this time wait an hour before adding it to your phone.
Tried disabling Web advisor no change.
