Re: Logging in to email problems

Same issue here, if I try to logon using Firefox then cannot access emails, but if I use Chrome then no issues. Also no issues on Iphone.

Re: Logging in to email problems

I posted this way back on page 7 of this thread, it seems one one has tried it yet.

I have sorted the problem out by refreshing Firefox, just open Firefox and click on help at the top of the page > Troubleshooting information > Refresh Firefox,  this should work but you may have to reinstall Add-ons.

Re: Logging in to email problems

On further thinking about this it would then appear it is fault with Firefox and nothing whatsoever to do with BT?

Re: Logging in to email problems

I knew two days ago it was a Firefox problem, it was obvious as other browsers weren't affected. I'm surprised that other people who use this site have not tried my suggested fix, it worked for me and two of my friends.

Re: Logging in to email problems

It's not a Firefox problem.  It's a BT problem.  Caused by their update.

Re: Logging in to email problems

You are wrong, it's nothing to do with BT, the only people I know who had the problem are Firefox users.

Re: Logging in to email problems

Either McAfee Web advisor or firefox would have been updated to make it a " firefox problem" or the BT  interface has been changed. As far as I can ascertain Firefox has not been updated.

BT supplies Mcafee web advisor and the Email server, I would suggest that BT needs to examine whether either of these have been updated.

This "fault" also impacts access to manage your BT account via BT.com

McAfee web advisor being disabled during login is a work around, but it may take several attempts to achieve a succesful login.
