Firefox(76.0.1) 64 bit not working with BT email have disabled Mcafee web advisor. OK with Microsoft edge.
Yes I have the same issue as others, can't log on with Firefox, the solution about disabling web advisor did not fix it, but I can access using the same Windows 10 laptop but with the Chrome browser instead of Firefox. Hope this is fixed soon as I prefer Firefox
As of yesterday morning I have been unable to login to my BT email account using Firefox, however I have no problem if I use Edge. I have a friend who is experiencing exactly the same problem. We both get this message in a red box: Please check you entered your username and password correctly and try again. If you need help remembering your username or password you can use the links below.
I have definately been entering my correct username and password.
As you can log in via one browser and not another it's most likely a browser issue.
Could Firefox have remember an old password? Could you clear any passwords for BT?
Yes, I have the same problem. I can login as usual via the Chrome browser.
Using Firefox 76.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 8.1, from today 23rd May, started getting this message,

Several attempts this morning with same issue when trying via Firefox and some weird gobbledygook page which started later last night replacing the red box wrong password / displayed earlier in the evening. But suddenly for no obvious reason have now got in with Firefox, perhaps BT has made a change somewhere.

I have the same version of Firefox as you and so does my friend so that more or less proves Firefox is causing the problem.... Cheers!
