Haven’t been able to login to my online mail Via google chrome (mac) for about a week.
have tried via Safari and it seems to work ok but I don’t use that browser generally
anyone else or just me?

Try clearing Chrome's history and cookies and if using a shortcut/favourite try using a new shortcut or favourite.

When you cleared the history and cookies did you do it "for all time" ?
As regards the logon page, try using the "Email" button at the top right of this page.
