Losing connection

I have BT fibre 2 and been having problems online gaming getting disconnected  (fallout 76) I believe the router is dropping connection for a few seconds occasionally and radomly I have download files and they keep failing on the download and I have to restart them a few times so this seems to confirm it I have restarted the router and also tried a factory reset

Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements.

Do the lights on the home hub change colour when you get the disconnection?

What does it say in the BT Home Hub event log?

If you are connecting using wifi, then you are more likely to see disconnections if the home hub changes the wireless channel due to interference.
