Just borrowed an Asus DSL-AC68U and slung it on for giggles.

Seems like pages were loading a great deal faster, but speed test shows the same capping.

It was worth a punt.

DLM takes about 2 weeks to remove the capping

Sorry Ray, but what is DLM?

I was in touch with BT and they say they have not identified a fault, but can see that the line drops many times a day.

They say they will be monitoring my connection for a couple of days and then give me a call.

Would you suggest the hh5 go back on?

Dynamic Line Management keeps an eye on your line for errors and disconnetions. If it detects any, it changes the line parameters to try and fix them.

DLM doesn't care what modem you use.
