Lots of open reach work in my area between 2-6 jan possibly full fibre?

All these phone icons are for works between 2-6 jan. Would this be full fibre potentially? The area currently only has fttc and no virgin.

Thanks

@roxithecat

Only Openreach would know that. This is a BT Retail customer forum, and has nothing to do with Openreach.

Only Openreach can tell you that.

That’s an unusually large amount of works to be going on in one place.

Have you clicked on the Telephone Pin Drops to confirm it is BT/Openreach as they’re not unique to them. It could be another Network Provider like City Fibre, Hyperoptic, etc.

Also if you click on them it usually gives you a brief description of the works involved.

If you click on the pin it will tell you who is undertaking the works but details of what works are being undertaken are no longer published to members of the public. You now need to be member of an organisation which is registered as having a professional need for operational data.  Occasionally some data will "leak" but not often.

If it is Openreach you could always ask the guys doing the work what it is for.

I asked the guys doing some work on Marine Road. They said they were checking/un blocking the ducts ready for FTTP.
