Thanks for the information. when you say maintain connection for 3 days do you mean, keep my computer on and connected to the internet for three days or do not reset or disconnect the hub.

Just do not disconnect the router from the internet - you can turn your pc off

Your connection has dropped again and reconnected with a higher noise margin and lower connection speed. Is quiet line test still ok - no crackle or hiss

if your fonnection continues to drop then I would try in the test socket with a new filter just in cae there is a problem with your SSFP

do you use a telephone extension cable to connect your router to you filter in the master socket?

Hello

Quiet line test seems ok so I connected through a new filter direct to the socket with the face plate off and got the same results below. Still high noise levels so what is the next step please. I had to disconnect to do this hence the low connection time.

Re: Low speed after line repair

then I would leave it in test socket if you can until you get 3+ days connection time then repost the adsl stats and mods will help by getting noise margin reset to 6db which will increase your conenction speed - but 3+ days connection time first

Ok I will try that but I doubt if it will stay connected for that long as it has not so far.

Thanks
