I have been a loyal customer with bt for over 20 years.
our landline is with bt
our internet - infinity 2 is with bt
our tv is with bt
i am a shareholder with bt
and last year we put our mobile with by, and that is where the problem started yet but have been dismissive yet sign off by thanking me for allowing them to serve me and tell me how important customers are. If this is service then......!!!
in December we got a simm card through by who offered a gift card a part of the deal. At the time I was told the card would be received within 45 days.
after 45 days with no gift card I phoned and wasp told cards are NOT sent out but I must claim!
i was given an address but when I went on line I was asked if I bought the card before 17 Nov 2017. I answered no and was told I couldn’t claim yet but should check MyBT.
I checked MyBT in February......same message. tried the claim site.....same message
I checked MyBT in March...same message. Tried the claim site....same message.
i checked in April and the site said all gift cards must be claimed within 3 months.
i made a complaint and received a one line resolution from by saying I failed to claim which signed off “thankyou for allowing us to serve you”. Well but, you certainly know how to serve.
yes! I know it was just a one-off £25 gift card. Yes,I know I pay you over £70 a month for your services and have done for years. Yes, I know I have lent you some of my money as a shareholder but it still is unacceptable.
yes...I will have to review my services from you (most of which are not in contract so I am not tied to by).
yes....maybe I should ask for my share money back.
do I expect a response? Not really but if I do I suspect it will be “It’s up to you mate, we don’t really care”
perhaps I am wrong? I’ll wait a while then give you feedback.
