Has anyone got the MS Outlook app to work with BT Email (IMAP settings)? I get the "server timed out message". Looking at past posts I was stunned to see how long this problem has been around. Still, I have no choice, so I have to ask. Anyone?
Yes, worked for me although I soon deleted the Outlook app as it eats phone memory ( a known problem).
I only set it up as a test, I use Blue Mail as my main Android mail app.
I don't use Outlook as I found it far to much of a resource hog and uses over 70mb of storage. If you check out the reviews for it in the Playstore it does not exactly shine and I suspect they are not all BTMail users. I use Aquamail on my Android phone and tablet and have no problems with it.
Thanks for the 2 replies. So neither of you is currently using MS Outlook for Android. I'll wait to see if anyone who is actually using it at the moment responds.
Why would we want to with its problems when there are far superior apps.
Just to humour you, I have just re-installed Outlook with a test btinternet account and it works just fine.

Did you check the recent reviews on the Playstore. Perhaps users have decided its not worth the hassle and no longer use it so it's might not be surprising no one has responded.
