MacBook Pro connection Problems.

Go to solution

Hi,

I have just got my BtHub and my MacBook Pro will not connect to the hub at all. All other wireless networks nearby are allowing me to try and enter a password yet the BThub wont, and it i literally right beside me.

My Mac asks to run diagnostics?

the have you tried splitting the 2.4 and 5g networks by giving different ssids - say add a 5 to the 5ghz ssid.  also stop smart setup and turn off automatic channel selection and gove each ssid a specific channel and either same or different passwords.  then see you your MAC can conenct any better

Upgraded my Wireless Card and that seems to have worked. Thanks for the help though.
