Macbooks dropping BThub4 wireless connection

Hello,  I've just switched from EE to BT broadband (for the parental controls features, not cost I assure you).

All seems fine with Windows laptop and iPads, but the 3 macbooks in the house drop their connection every so often, between ten minutes and 5 seconds.  What to do?

Please, whoever responds, be very clear as I struggle with macs.

Much appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: Macbooks dropping BThub4 wireless connection

Make sure you turn off "smart setup" on the Homehub.

See link how to do that.

Some devices have a problem with the Homehub dual band having the same SSid (name). You should try splitting them.
